Naoufel Nechi

Naoufel Nechi completed his undergraduate studies in English Language, Literature, and Civilization at the Higher Institute of Humanities of Tunis from 2010 to 2013. During 2012-2013, he participated in the ISSHT Human Rights and Debate Club.

 

In 2014-2015, he completed a master’s program in International Relations at the same institution. From 2013 to 2015, he gained experience in developing personalized educational strategies by offering private lessons. Between 2015 and 2017, he taught Tunisian Arabic to non-native speakers through the GPA Program.

 

In 2017-2018, he worked as an English and Social Studies teacher. Nechi’s teaching philosophy focuses on creating an interactive classroom environment that encourages students to improve their English proficiency while exploring societal complexities and global relations.

 

From 2018 to 2023, he served as the Social Sciences Department Head and GP (Global Perspectives) teacher at Tunis Maarif International Schools, contributing significantly to curriculum development in history, geography, and social studies courses.

 

Since 2023, he has been working as a Cambridge Exam Officer at Tunis Maarif International Schools, where he also teaches Global Perspectives courses, promoting research, critical analysis, and global awareness.

 

To continue his professional development, Nechi has participated in various certification programs. From 2022 to 2023, he completed courses on Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL), Advanced Psychology (Udemy), and Introduction to Psychology (Yale University, Coursera). Between 2020 and 2022, he earned TEFL/TESOL and Microsoft Innovative Educator certifications. He also holds certifications in Cambridge International AS & A Level Global Perspectives & Research, Minecraft Education Edition, Cambridge Lower Secondary, and Computational Thinking in Education. In 2019, he attended the Cambridge Primary Global Perspectives training in Ankara and the in-service training held at International Maarif Schools in Tunisia.
