Dawood Abdulmalek Al-Hidab

Dawood Abdulmalek Yahya Al-Hidabi, Founder and Former President of the University of Science and Technology, Sana'a, from 1994 to 2007. He is also the Founder and President of the International Association for Talent Development. Currently, he is the editor-in-chief of three academic journals. Al-Hidabi is a member of the advisory boards and reviewer for several national and international journals in education. He works at the International Institute for Muslim Unity as director and is the chairman of the Islamic Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the Federation of Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), which IIUM hosts. He engaged in consultancy and training for national and international organizations such as ministries of education and higher education, the World Bank, UNESCO, UNICEF, ISESCO, OIC, IIIT, and others. His areas of interest are curricula design and instruction, quality assurance and accreditation for schools and universities, teacher training, gifted education, and auditing private and NGO organizations.
