Mehmet Hasan Yacı is a Turkish lawyer currently serving as Türkiye’s Head Delegate to the Y20 2025 Summit in South Africa and working as an Associate at Kabine Law Office in Istanbul. His work primarily focuses on international law, human rights, and arbitration.
Hasan graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2024 (valedictorian), where he was awarded both the Turkish Presidential Scholarship of Success and the Köksal Bayraktar Scholarship.
He also represented Türkiye at the MIKTA Youth Summit in Jakarta in 2023, engaging in policy discussions on inclusive economic growth and development. During his studies, he participated in international moot court competitions. His team where he served as an oralist became the champion in the international rounds of the 16th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court in Germany. He also participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court, where his team received the Best Memorial Award. He is the co-founder of the Galatasaray Students’ Journal of International Law (GSJIL).
His academic and professional journey includes experience at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye, where he conducted research on human rights and constitutional review. He further broadened his expertise through participation in the Summer School on Human Rights at the University of Coimbra, Portugal (2022).
Earlier in his career, Hasan was recognized as the National Debate Champion of Türkiye (2017) and later served as a judge at several international debate tournaments.
He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
