The 2025 Istanbul Education Summit Report presents a comprehensive overview of the sessions, speeches, and events held within the scope of the 5th Istanbul Education Summit organized by Turkish Maarif Foundation. Held under the theme “Healing the World Through Education,” the summit focused on the transformative role of education in the face of global crises, wars, social inequalities, and humanitarian challenges.

The report includes the main components of the summit such as guest of honor speeches, opening remarks, the high-level ministerial meeting, panel sessions, education talks, and the youth session.

Among the guest of honor speakers were Her Excellency Emine Erdoğan, spouse of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, and Her Excellency Latifa al-Droubi, spouse of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic. In addition, ministers, academics, education experts, representatives, and young participants from different countries shared their perspectives throughout the summit.

The report also covers events such as the “Good Practices in Education” exhibition, the 6th International Maarif Photography Contest, and the Maarif Painting Contest 2025. Throughout the summit, major discussions focused on justice in education, a human-centered approach, youth participation, social collaboration, and the ethical dimension of education.
